Mark Williams (b. 1959) plays the role of Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter films. Mark graduated from Oxford University. Since then he has become a familiar figure in the film business. He has also done some theatre. He might be one of the best known in the UK as regular on BBC's TV show the Fast Show, having appeared in four series and a Christmas special. He's had many other TV appearances: the team host in the SKY TV quiz show "Jumper for Goalposts, director for the Channel 4 sit-com Festival at The Riverside Studios,co-produced in "Exile" another Channel 4 sit-com,and was also the voice of a mischievous Goblin in the episode "Goblin's Gold" on BBC's Merlin.He also played Rory Williams' father,Brian Williams in series seven of Doctor Who and spent three years touring by narrow boat with the Mikron Theatre Company.

Around approximately 10 December, 2012, Mark Williams visited The Making of Harry Potter studio tour to congratulate the tour's one millionth visitor, presenting him with a collector's edition Nimbus 2000 replica and acting as an impromptu tour guide.[1]
