A Dreadful-graded W.O.M.B.A.T..
Dreadful is one of the three failing grades, out of six grades overall, in the Ordinary Wizarding Levels, Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests and Wizards' Ordinary Magic and Basic Aptitude Tests. It is the second lowest mark, immediately below Poor and immediately above Troll.
Entering into N.E.W.T. Classes[]
If a student receives a "Dreadful" grade in their O.W.L. examination, they have failed that subject, which means that they cannot continue on with it at N.E.W.T. level. The same protocol applies for the other two failing grades: Poor and Troll. It is unknown if the student can retake the subject again at O.W.L. if they obtain a "Dreadful" grade.
